Winners: National Society of Film Critics

Spotlight

It was a good night for Spotlight and Carol at the National Society of Film Critics awards, with the former winning Best Picture and Todd Haynes picking up Best Director for the latter.

Meanwhile, Michael B. Jordan and Kristen Stewart were among the acting winners, though this probably isn’t indicative of the Academy Awards. Neither is the award for cinematography, which also went to Carol, as Emmanuel Lubezski remains the strong favourite for The Revenant. But it was a great night for those who may struggle at other awards.

The full list of winners is below, and as always you can keep up to date with awards season with our 2016 AWARDS CALENDAR
